INITIATIVE AND CURIOSITY - They will be
exposed to a variety of experiences to encourage
imagination and
interactive play with the
minimal use of playpens, cribs, car seats or bouncy chairs.
I will provide a
variety of safe materials, such as dolls and stuffed animals for them to
make a zoo
or be ringmaster at the circus. We have puppets for a stage show
and all our centers encourage pretend play.
 EXPLORATION AND PROBLEM SOLVING
- Your children will be exposed to safe, clean areas to explore.
I will make
every effort to redirect, rather than tell them, "No" and give them every
opportunity to
problem solve and make independent choices in games such as
the Marble Works.
I will provide an open environment and allow the children
to try different methods to succeed.
I will encourage imitation and
repetition with puzzles, Playful Patterns, and the Think-It-Through Tiles. |
